Gardening Project

Every Friday a group of four young people meet to garden at our allotment in Leatherhead where we grow flowers and a wide variety of vegetables such as carrots, potatoes, squash, onions, beans, tomatoes, rhubarb, leeks, carrots, cabbage, sprouts, broccoli and turnips. Every year we enter the Ashtead horticultural show and win prizes!

We also undertake garden maintenance around St. George’s Christian Centre, for a local special school, a local housing association and in addition do some paid work for individuals who need help to keep their garden in order!

During inclement weather we enjoy making nature related items such as willow weaving or making bird feeders. If you are interested in joining our gardening workforce or being a volunteer please contact Clare here.
