Jonathan has been working hard as our first apprentice at Re-Use It:
"I am currently working as an apprentice at the Re-Use It shop. Along side this I am working on a retail award. I am learning lots of different aspects of the retail industry. I have learnt the importance of good customer service which leads to repeat customer business, word of mouth and gives a good impression of the company. I have learned about different types of body language and the importance of clear and factual communication and not to be judgemental. I am currently working on merchandising and the importance of creating eye catching window displays of which I create many at the shop.
I get together weekly with Mandy to work on the units and have monthly zoom meetings with my assessor. My assessor has said he is very pleased with my work and progress towards the award."
